Terms of Service

Last updated: October 8, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of urlmode.com, our short-link domain fvj.io and all tools and features we provide (the “Service”), operated by URLMode (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who may use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA and UK) to use the Service, and old enough to form a binding agreement where you live. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.

2. The Service

URLMode provides a free URL shortener, dynamic and static QR codes and more than 500 free online tools for SEO, websites, domains, YouTube, images, PDFs, audio, video, design, text, calculations and development. Many tools run entirely in your browser. We may add, change, limit or remove features, and set free-usage limits, at any time.

3. Accounts

  • You can use most tools without an account. A free account adds unlimited short links, QR codes and click statistics.
  • Provide accurate information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. Tell us at once at support@urlmode.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
  • You may sign in with Google. Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google’s terms.
  • You can delete your account at any time in Account → Settings. Deleting it permanently removes your links, QR codes and statistics — printed QR codes will stop working.

4. Short links and QR codes

  • You are fully responsible for the links you create and the content they point to.
  • Short links are public: anyone with the link can open it.
  • We screen destinations for known threats. We may disable, redirect to a warning page or delete any link that breaks these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or that we reasonably believe is harmful, without notice.
  • We aim to keep links working permanently but do not guarantee it. Links of deleted, suspended or inactive accounts may stop working.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • create or share links to phishing, malware, scams, spam, illegal content, adult content or content that infringes others’ rights;
  • attack, overload, scan or scrape websites or systems you do not own or have permission to test;
  • bypass usage limits, the “I’m human” check, or other security measures, or use automated scripts to send large volumes of requests;
  • interfere with or disrupt the Service, other users or our servers;
  • impersonate others, mislead people or commit fraud — for example by using edited screenshots or documents as fake proof.

See the Acceptable Use Policy for details. Report abuse at urlmode.com/report.

6. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you submit. You give us a limited licence to host, process and display it only as needed to provide the Service (for example, to redirect a short link or show its statistics). Files used with browser-based tools stay on your device and are never uploaded to us.

7. Tool results

Tool results — including SEO scores, domain authority, spam scores, speed scores, earnings estimates, calculations and conversions — are provided for general information. Many rely on third-party data or estimates and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Check important results independently before relying on them. See our Disclaimer.

8. Third-party services and links

The Service uses and links to third-party services (for example Google, YouTube and public data providers) and to websites we do not control. Their terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their content or practices. Our YouTube tools use YouTube API Services; by using them you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.

9. Advertising

The Service is free and supported by advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads are provided by third parties; we do not endorse advertised products. Please do not click your own or others’ ads in a misleading way.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, text, logos, software and tool code are owned by URLMode or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the Service or substantial parts of it without permission. Open-source components remain under their own licences.

Copyright complaints: if you believe a short link or content on the Service infringes your copyright, send the details (the link, your work and your contact information) to support@urlmode.com or via Report a link.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access, disable links or delete accounts that break these Terms, harm others or create risk for the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, URLMode will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, revenue or business, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (for the free Service, zero). Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold URLMode harmless from claims, damages and expenses arising from your content, your links, or your breach of these Terms or the law.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms.

16. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. These Terms are governed by the laws applicable where URLMode is operated, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.

17. Contact
